It has been a great Christmas and New Year break for us and hopefully you as well!
We are back at it here in the workshop with plenty of repairs happening before the season kicks off again and below are some examples of what we have been working on.
____
New MX SH cricket bat for a young lad. This is a beautiful Butterfly English Willow bat, finished at 2.7lbs. We oiled and knocked it in so it's ready to go once it leaves the workshop.
____
We had the Andre Burger Cricket prize winner Jackson Todman in the workshop to make his cricket bat from start to finish. It was a great experience with him and he was super stocked with the end result.
____
On this bat we needed to repair a minor toe crack and trim 15mm off the end of the bat. It came up a treat!
____
These 2 bats are for brother and sister and the brother's name is Cooper! So we had to do custom stickers for Cooper's sister...how cool did these PEPPA stickers turn out!
____
This remake was quite a challenge as it involved matching an old shape with a super thick handle however it came up a treat!
It's been a productive week back in the shop with plenty more happening!
