These Terms of Service apply to all purchases, services, repairs, and use of the Cooper Cricket website and workshop services. By accessing our website, placing an order, booking a repair, or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our services.
About Cooper Cricket
Cooper Cricket designs, manufactures, and repairs cricket bats and cricket equipment. Our products are performance sporting equipment made using natural materials and are subject to wear, impact, and environmental conditions.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Products and natural materials
Many Cooper Cricket products, including cricket bats, are made from natural materials such as English willow. As a result:
• Each product is unique
• Variations in grain, appearance, weight, and balance are normal
• Cosmetic differences do not indicate a fault
• Performance equipment is subject to wear through use
Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided as a guide only.
Orders and payments
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars unless otherwise stated.
Orders are not confirmed until payment has been received. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order where:
• Payment cannot be processed
• Information provided is incorrect
• The product is unavailable
• The order appears fraudulent or unreasonable
Custom and personalised products
Custom-made or personalised products, including cricket bats made or modified to customer specifications, are produced specifically for you.
Once production or modification has commenced:
• Orders cannot be cancelled
• Refunds are not available for change of mind
• Natural material variation does not constitute a fault
Repairs and services
All repairs are subject to assessment before work commences.
By proceeding with a repair, you acknowledge and agree that:
• Repairs involve labour and irreversible work
• Once work has commenced, repairs cannot be reversed
• Repairs are not refundable once work has begun
Turnaround times provided are estimates only and are not guarantees.
Warranty
Warranty coverage applies to manufacturing faults only, as outlined in our Warranty Information page.
Warranty does not cover impact damage, wear and tear, misuse, or product modification.
Warranty assessment and outcomes are determined in accordance with our published Warranty Information.
Goodwill support
In some circumstances, Cooper Cricket may offer goodwill support, including free minor repairs or other assistance, even where warranty does not apply.
Goodwill support:
• Is offered at our discretion
• Does not constitute an admission of fault
• Does not create an ongoing obligation
Final decisions regarding goodwill support rest with Cooper Cricket management.
Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.
Change-of-mind returns are not accepted on:
• Custom-made products
• Used products
• Repairs or services
Proof of purchase is required for all return requests.
Shipping and turnaround times
Shipping and production timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside our control, including courier delays, supply delays, or workload.
Risk in goods passes to the customer upon dispatch, subject to Australian Consumer Law.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
By placing an order with Cooper Cricket, you agree to contact us directly to attempt to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider.
Chargebacks or disputes raised for matters covered by our published policies may be challenged using:

• Order records
• Communication history
• Evidence of product condition or service delivery
We reserve the right to provide relevant information to payment providers and financial institutions in response to any dispute.
