What is the Custom Bat Builder?

The Custom Bat Builder is an online tool that lets you design a cricket bat from scratch. Pick your model, your sticker design, your grip colour, your willow grade, your weight, your handle shape, your face protection, your toe profile, and more. When you are happy, place your order and we will build it in our Brisbane workshop, exactly to spec. No guesswork, no compromises, no "close enough."
Pick your model.
10 profiles, each designed for a different style of play. High middle for late-cutting technicians, low middle for front-foot drivers, balanced all-rounders for players who want a bit of everything. Every model has a genuinely different playing character, because our precision profiling means we can design and reproduce them accurately.
Design your look.
Choose your sticker design from a range of preset colourways, then use the colour palette to make it yours: club colours, something bold, or something entirely your own. Pick your grip colour to match. The stickers are printed in-house at our Brisbane workshop, raised and glossy, and they are the first thing everyone notices.
Set your size, grade, and weight.
Choose your bat size, then pick your willow grade from five options: Performance through to Ultimate, each with a minimum grain count and quality standard. Finally, set your weight. The weight you pick is the weight you get, because we grade and select every cleft by hand before it goes anywhere near the workshop.
Customise the build.
Set your blade length, choose your face protection (Clearguard, Clearguard Plus, or Fibreguard), then dial in your handle: shape, length, and thickness. Pick your toe profile and whether you want a hard toe guard and binding. Every detail is yours to set, not a factory default.
Add the finishing touches.
Add laser engraving ($60) for your name, initials, or a custom mark burned into the blade. Choose whether you want a practice bat included. Review your full build summary, confirm your total, and place your order. Three minutes, start to finish.

~15,000-knock knock-in
Every bat is machine-knocked with around 15,000 compressions, then hand-finished. The face is game-ready out of the box.
Boned edges and knocked toe
Edges are boned and compressed to harden them. The toe is knocked and reinforced with a hard toe guard. Built to take a hit from ball one.
Oiling and face protection
Oiled to the correct moisture level, then fitted with your choice of face protection. Clearguard, Clearguard Plus, or Fibreguard: you pick in the builder.
Your grip, fitted
Multiple grip colours to choose from. Fitted by hand in the workshop, not wrapped in a bag for you to do at home.
14 to 21 days, built and shipped.
Standard builds take 14 to 21 days from order to dispatch. Need it sooner? Jump the Queue for $199 and we will have your bat built and out the door within 10 days. Every build is tracked through our workshop system, so you will know exactly where your bat is at every stage.
Pricing
Adult custom bats from $999.
Five willow grades for adult bats from $999 (Performance, 4+ grains) to $1,899 (Ultimate, 9+ grains). Every grade includes the full build: knock-in, oiling, face protection, hard toe, grip, and your sticker design. The price is the price, with nothing hidden at checkout.

1. Design it
Open the Custom Bat Builder and configure your model, stickers, grip, size, grade, weight, handle, toe, and extras. Takes about three minutes.
2. Order it
Review your build summary and place your order. Payment is handled securely through Shopify.
3. We build it
Your bat enters the workshop queue. Standard turnaround is 14 to 21 days, or 10 days with Jump the Queue.
4. Play
Your bat arrives game-ready. Knocked in, oiled, gripped, and protected. Take it straight to the nets.
