HANDLE REPAIRS

HANDLE BREAKS AND CRACKS ARE TOTALLY FIXABLE

Cricket bat handles are the most common kinds repairs that we do.

The handle is such an important part of the cricket bat. It takes on all of the vibration from the impact of the ball and then assists in transferring the power back into the ball...it's pretty amazing. The amount of stress that the joint between the handle and the cricket bat is terribly immense, so it is not suprising that every now and again handles break or cracks appear from the shoulders.

HANDLE REBINDING

Sometimes your binding starts to unravel from around your handle. This is casued by the glue breaking down from when the binding was first put on. Binding is super important for the joint between the handle and the bat so that it remains strong and secure throughout the life of the bat.

If the binding comes loose and starts to unravel, it won't be long before shoulder cracks will start to appear. As soon as this starts happening, get it replaced asap.
