THE LAST DANCE

For cricketers, cricket bats aren't just a thing you buy. They are an extension of the player that you are or want to be. In regards to these bats, they are a symbol of classics used through an entire career that have seen better days but have so many memories.

For Brian, this is his last season, the last dance. He wants to symbolise his final season with remakes of these classics with a new age spin on them. So we were challenged with making these bats for the upcoming season.

With the old bats in hand we went to work on recreating them to Brian's specifications whilst keeping the elements of the old bats. This included:

Bat one (Scoop 375):

• Grade one english willow
• High spine
• A scoop coloured red
• Oval handle
• Big edges
• Weight to be 2.9 - 2.10lbs including the binding and grip
• Engraving on the bat face

Bat two (SS):

• Grade one english willow
• Big profile
• Big edges
• Toe insert
• Oval handle
• Custom stickers
• Weight to be 2.9 - 2.10lbs including the binding and grip

As you can see from the photos, the bats came out a treat with a very happy customer.
