DELAMINATION REPAIR
When the face of your bat starts to cave in or splinter, it’s usually a sign of delamination—where the top pressed layer of willow separates and begins to destroy the timber beneath it. This happens from repeated ball impact: energy goes in, bounces out, and over time, breaks the surface tension and vibrates the layers apart.
Our repair process is designed to restore structure and prolong the life of your bat. We carefully glue down the damaged layers and secure them using our custom-designed clamps, holding everything in place for a full week to ensure a strong bond. After that, we unclamp, sand it back, and finish the repair for a smooth result.
You’ll get a solid return of the original ping, a cleaner finish, and a bat that’s ready for more innings.
