Can I trade in any cricket bat?
Yes, you can trade in any English willow cricket bat you have lying around the house, even if it's broken!
How do I apply the discount?
That's an easy one. Go into any new cricket bat and in the options, choose if you are going to trade in a bat & then choose how many.
Does the bat need to be English Willow?
Yes, the trade in bat needs to be English Willow. We won't accept Kashmir willow and other willow alternatives.
*I have more than 1 cricket bat to trade in. Can i trade in multiple bats to get one bat?
Yes you can. You can trade in 2 cricket bats to get $300 off for a adult bat & $150 off for a junior bat
What if the bat I want to trade in is broken?
That's ok, you can trade in broken cricket bats too!
My bat has water damage, can I trade that in?
Yes you can!
Can I trade in a junior bat?
Yes you can, but only when buying a junior bat.
My old bat has a chunk missing off the bottom of it, can I trade that in?
Yes you can!
I'm not in Brisbane, am I still able to purchase a bat online and get the trade in discount?
Yes you can! You will also need to send us the trade in bat before we send the new bat to you.
Can I trade in an old bat and use the discount to buy gloves or pads?
No, unfortiunately not :(
I don't need a bat now but can I trade in a bat and spend the $200 later?
Yes you can! We can send you a gift voucher that you can put towards a new cricket bat later on. We would need to be processed manually, so please contact us on 07 32670936 or come into the store.
I have a sponsorship, can I still trade in a bat?
No you can't.
Can I trade in other gear like gloves and pads?
No, unfortiunately not :(
Do I need to give you the traded in bat before I get the new bat?
Yes you do :)
What does Cooper Cricket do with the old bats?
Great question! We use them for a few different things.
- If the cricket bats are in good condition, we will fix them and use them as loan bats while people have their cricket bat/s in for repair.
- They make great practice bats for possible new employees or people with work experience.
- They can be great for spare bits of willow for repairs like grafts.
- If the old cricket bats can't be used for anything else, we will turn them into scraps for garden mulch.
As long as your old bat is English willow, you can trade it in.

The trade-in bat must be an English Willow bat. For orders requiring shipping, the trade-in bat must be received by Cooper Cricket before the new bat is dispatched.
