Shield or Club?

The difference is the timber.

Shield and Club stumps are both full-size, in-ground match stumps with the same full-height wrap, laminated to last five years or more. What separates them is the wood. Shield stumps are ash, rated for test and first-class cricket and the fastest bowling in the game, finished to look perfect on the field and on camera. Club stumps are high-quality hardwood rated to around 120 kph, which covers most senior and all junior cricket, at a price that lets a club kit out every ground.

Playing on synthetic or hard surfaces? That is what the based sets are for. Spring-based stumps sit on a weighted metal base and pop back upright when struck. Rubber-based sets, in timber or plastic, are the portable, junior-friendly option. One based set is three stumps on a single base with two bails, not a six-stump match set.

Step 1

Pick your stumps

Choose your stump type above and hit Design your wrap. The designer opens locked to that product, with the exact wrap size ready to go.

Step 2

Set your background

Pick a background colour, or upload full artwork. Designing in your own software? Download the blank template from the designer and drop your finished file straight on.

Step 3

Add colour bands

Add stripes in your club colours. Set each band's position and height, and they line up on every stump automatically.

Step 4

Add logos and text

Upload your club logo for the top of the stumps and type your club name to run down the front. Front and back are designed separately, or tick Same as front.

Step 5

Check it in 3D

Spin the stumps, check the front and the back, and zoom right in. What you see on screen is exactly what we print.

Step 6

Choose sets and add to cart

Pick how many sets you need, plus spare stumps where offered. Bulk discounts apply automatically. Add to cart and your design comes with the order, made and wrapped in our Brisbane workshop.
